Biosketch

Dr. Samir Gokarn is a highly accomplished professional in the field of Management Studies, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the esteemed Department of Management Studies at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (formerly Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology) in New Delhi. He earned his Ph.D. in supply chain management from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad in 2018, demonstrating his commitment to advanced research and his expertise in the field. His academic achievements include being awarded a Bronze Medal at the national level for his exceptional coursework on Research Methodology in 2014. Additionally, he was recognized for his outstanding performance and dedication to management studies when he received the JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) from the UGC-India in the Management Stream in 2012. With a focus on research, Dr. Gokarn has made significant contributions to the field. He has published numerous papers in prestigious 'A' category journals listed in the ABDC journal list, many of which are indexed in the Web of Science and have a high impact factor. Moreover, his expertise and meticulousness as a researcher have led to his appointment as a reviewer for journals listed in the A* category of the ABDC journal list, as well as those indexed in the Web of Science and other reputable platforms. Recognizing his expertise and reputation in the field, Dr. Gokarn has been appointed as a distinguished member of the editorial board of the Universal Journal of Operations and Management (UJOM). This appointment further demonstrates his commitment to advancing knowledge and contributing to the academic community.

In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Gokarn possesses valuable industry experience, having worked for two years at a Netherland-based company. Moreover, Dr. Gokarn's entrepreneurial spirit is evident through his establishment of two private limited companies in the past.
