Department of Physical Education NSUT has organized Unity Run on  NATIONAL UNITY DAY-2022.

District Magistrate, South West Delhi with the Regional Directorate of NSS, Delhi in collaboration with NSS NSUT Cell organized ‘Run for Unity’ on National Unity Day, the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Chief guest was Sh. Hemant Kumar, IAS, District Magistrate and Prof. J.P. Saini, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Netaji Subhas University of Technology presided the event with his gracious presence. Dean Student Welfare, Prof. Vijander Singh and Registrar, Prof. Sanjeeve Thakur were also present.

1800+ participants from 20+ colleges/universities/school like Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Gargi College, Hindu College, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, Bharti College, Shri Aurobindo College, etc., NGO’s and members of youth organizations like, NCC, NYKS, and NSS units participated in the run.

The run started from Netaji Statue, NSUT, Dwarka Sector-3, and ended in Vegas Mall, Dwarka Sector-14 covering a distance of 3.8 km. The event flagged off at 8 am after official Unity Pledge and ended with refreshments. The event was successfully completed and well appreciated among the citizens of Dwarka spreading the ideals of the Iron Man of India.
