Bio-sketch

Prof. Audithan Sivaraman received the B.E., degree from Bharathidasan University, India in 2000, M.E., degree in Computer science and engineering from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, India in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer science and engineering from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, India in the year 2011 and completed Post doctoral research in 2017. He has twenty years of teaching experience and has produced 7 Ph.D. Scholars successfully. He is a senior member of IEEE and he has published 16 SCI indexed Publications in high impact factored journals like IEEE Transactions and Elsevier, Springer, Taylor &Francis etc. and has seven Indian patents granted to his credit (out of which three are product patents). He also authored two books in the area of Computer science and engineering. He is the Expert committee member in NBA, NAAC etc. He is also a Senate Member of NIT Hamirpur. His research interests are in image processing (texture modelling, image classification, Image segmentation, Image retrieval), Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition and remote sensing data analysis, Cryptography and Network Security. He provided several expert lectures on Natural Hazards, Advanced remote sensing technologies, GI for urban flood and water resources management.
