Biosketch

Dr. Sanya Anees is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi since August 2023. She has received B.E. (Gold Medalist) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, M.P., India and M.Sc. (Engg.) in Communication Engineering from University of Manchester, United Kingdom, in 2010 and 2012, respectively. She has received Ph.D. in Optical Wireless Communication from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD) in 2016. Prior to joining NSUT, she has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati (IIITG) from July 2016 - July 2023.

Areas of Interest

Different aspects of wireless communications with emphasis on cooperative communication, optical wireless communication, and UAV assisted communication along with air & water quality monitoring systems using IoT and hyperspectral imaging.
