Bio Sketch
Prof. Nand Lal Singh joined the Netaji Subhas University of Technology in August 2022. He retired from the M.S.University of Baroda as a senior faculty member of the Faculty of Science and HOD of Physics. He is an alumnus of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) from pre-university to Ph.D.(1974-1987). He did Post- Doc at APAT, Rome, Italy under the ICTP-TRIL Fellow. He has guided 17 Ph.D. and 4 are working on their Ph.D. degree and published 277 papers in peer review journals and national /international proceedings having a citation of 4301 and h-index-30. He is a Fellow of Gujarat Science Academy. He has worked in different administrative capacities, such as Head of Department, Chairman of- Board of Studies of Physics, Chief Warden, Halls of Residence of M.S.University Hostels and Dean of Students, etc. He has also worked as Chairman of the Accelerator Users Committee, a Member of Governing Board/Council and the Finance Committee of Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi. He has organized various conferences/workshops etc. at the national / International level. He is a life member of different scientific societies such as IAPT, INS, IPA, IPS, ISRP, ISBI, NTSI, SMC, and Vigyan Parishad. He has visited Italy, Germany, Switzerland, China, the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovak Republic, and Russia. He received “Life Time Achievement Award” by the Nuclear Track Society of India (NTSI).
