Bio-sketch

Dushyant Kumar earned his Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Physics from the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in 2009 and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Physics, IIT Kanpur in 2016. From 2016, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Spin and Energy Lab, National University of Singapore (NUS). He had been working on the 2D topological materials – fundamental physics and their applications in the field of spintronics (SOT-MARAM). He explored the intrinsic quantum properties of these materials for nonlinear spintronics and energy harvesting. He also worked on the optical mapping of 3D spin texture of the novel quantum materials. His doctoral research focused on the magnetism and superconductivity and their heterostructures for spintronic applications. He studied the spin injection, spin transport and spin transfer related phenomenon. Dr. Dushyant joined the Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) in 2022 and working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics.
