The lab is equipped with latest all-in-one desktops having Intel i7-processors that can handle the 3D-rendering requirements of architecture students. The desktop PCs have been installed with licensed versions of software such as AutoCAD, MS Office, QGIS, etc. to acquaint the students with computer-aided design.

This lab is made with the intention of enabling the student to make scale models of buildings, landscapes, interiors, etc. us-ing various materials and tools. The making of scale models helps the students in better visualisation of their architectural designs in three-dimensions, thereby accentuating their creativity.

The lab contains several catalogues, brochures and material samples of different building components based on the latest construction materials available in the market. The lab acts as a ready-reference for the students helping them familiarise with these building elements and materials.

The lab contains all necessary tools and equipment required for measuring various parameters related to climatology and passive-design in architecture. These tools help the students in making their architectural designs more energy-efficient and climate-responsive, thereby inculcating the values of sustainability in them.
