It is one among the most dynamic areas of science and engineering today, which represents a synthesis of evolving technologies that will propel the industries towards sustainable development. Today, this growing discipline is poised on the interface of various subjects that contribute to the growth of pharmaceutical, agricultural, food and many other industries.
Vision and Mission of the ECE department
Vision: To develop innovative, creative and ethical electronics and communication engineers for industry and society through excellence in technical education and research.
Mission:
This discipline was introduced in the academic session 2002-03 with an intake of 60 students to meet the growing demand of IT professionals. Presently, faculty of Computer Engineering shares the responsibility with department's faculty in its academic activities.
VISION: To meet the requirements of the society in the field of Information Technology by imparting knowledge, ethics and moral values.

To achieve excellence in education, research and technology transfer in the domain of Computer Engineering with the highest standard of professional ethics.
Mission:
The Department of Mathematics, Netaji Subhas University of Technology (formerly Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology) was established in December 2013. Earlier it was working under the School of Applied Sciences which was established in the year 1983. Currently, there are six faculty members who are working with various research programs viz. General Relativity and Cosmology, Astrophysics, Approximation Theory and Operator Theory, Fluid Mechanics, Bio Mechanics, Linear and Nonlinear Waves, Complex Analysis, etc. The Department of Mathematics has started an undergraduate course B. Tech.
The Department of Chemistry, formerly under the School of Applied Sciences, was created as a separate department in December 2013. The department supports all the Engineering Divisions by offering common courses in Chemistry (theory and practical) in the first semester and Electrical Engineering Materials, chemistry-II (theory and practical) in the second semester. In addition, research work is also being carried out in collaboration with institutions like University of Delhi, NPL.
