Bio-sketch

Dr. Vijay Gupta is a Professor of Mathematics and Ex. Head (2013-Feb 2018), Department of Mathematics, NSIT (now Netaji Subhas University of Technology), New Delhi. A PhD from University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee). His area of research interest is Approximation Theory, especially he works on linear positive operators. He is the author/co-author of Five books, Fifteen book chapters and over 300 research papers. He is also actively involved in editing several international scientific research journals, also he edited several books. The present h-index (as per google scholar) is 41
