The Department of Mechanical Engineering (Electric Vehicle) also has established Advanced Material Research Lab for UG lab demonstration and research purpose. The lab has dedicated equipment to synthesis nanoparticles, sample preparation for various mechanical testing as per international standards, preparation of composite materials, metallurgical study etc. The list of equipment in this lab is vacuum oven, hot air oven, muffle furnace, twin belt grinder, probe ultrasonicator, bath sonicator, laboratory centrifuge, high accuracy weighing balance, magnetic stirrer, rotary pump etc.
