General information about the lab

This lab is primarily a teaching lab and is used for conducting hands-on practical sessions of various lab courses of B.E. (COE) program namely Introduction to Programming, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Compilers etc.

All the computers are dual boot with Ubuntu and Windows. These computers are connected to 100 Mbps LAN and students are allowed to use their laptops to access network resources through wi-fi. Apart from teaching classes, students may use this lab for Internet surfing, Mailing, accessing institute’s subscribed research journals and other related academic activities.

This lab is also used to provide facilities for the institute events like various competitions of technical festival, placement activities, online exams and other important happenings.

This lab hosts a Web server of the COE Department. Students willing to host their homepage on this server may contact the lab technical staff / Faculty In-Charge.
