AGASTYA, The 1st All Delhi Govt. Inter Universities Sports Tournament is one of Its kind. The Department of Physical Education has take lead to organaize the First Edition of the Games at University Sports Complex from 11th to 13th March 2022. The basic structure of the tournament and other administrative frame work has been designed by involving sports heads of all the universities. The chance of hosting the  event will be given to all the universities in alphabetical order. The first edition of this event has been given to NSUT.

This kind of gathering will bring the students to showcase their talents in sports and also, they will be visiting to the host universities and get chance to explore the university setup physically.

Eight Universities DTU, IGDTUW, GGSIPU, BR Ambedkar, DESU, DPSRU, NSUT and IIIT Delhi (Institution of Govt. of NCT delhi)  are participating in this tournament. As confirmed by Dr.Saroha, 8 events have been planned for this tournament namely Basketball, Chess, Badminton, Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, The name of this tournament has been planned AGASTYA whose literally meaning is “ destroyer of Sins”
