
Bio Sketch:
Professor C. S. Sharma is a distinguished educator with broad experience of 40 years in India and overseas in teaching, program development (including enriched digital content), institution building, financial performance and business development. He has authored eleven books and published fifty- Two research papers, with publications on wide range of topics like Fuzzy Financial Ratios, Mergers and Acquisitions, Servant Leadership, Spirituality, Green Purchasing Intentions, Default Probability, Interpersonal-trust, environment etc. Besides being Toyota Foundation Scholar, he has supervised research at IIT, Delhi, Department of Commerce, University of Delhi, Melbourne University, Amity University and has acted in a consultative capacity to corporations, renowned institutions of higher learning, and is a sought - after speaker notably in research methodology including qualitative research, human behaviour and finance.
After retiring from Shri Ram College of Commerce where he spent a substantial part of his academic career spanning nearly 43 years, currently he is Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Management Studies, Netaji Subhash University of technology. Also, he is Advisor to Faculty of Commerce and Management, SGT University.
Earlier he was Professor at Delhi Institute of Advanced Studies, Rohini and Dean, Academic JIMS, Kalkaji, Delhi with Independent Charge of Indian School of Business and Finance (ISBF) Delhi Affiliated to University of London, London School of Economics and Political Science. Also, he was Director at JRE Group of Institutions and Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies. He was Professor in the Department of Commerce, Shri Ram College of Commerce from where he retired in August 2022.
He has conducted more than 200 workshops and training programmes at Institutions like Punjab Police Academy, Vedanta Ltd., Power System Operation Corporation, TISS Mumbai, Ramanujan College-DU, CPDHE-Delhi University, Academic staff College- Guru Jambheshwar University, MDU Rohtak, Manav Rachna University, Veer Narmad South Gujrat University, School of Management Sciences, Varanasi, Amity University, NASM First Grade College, Bengaluru etc. Also, he was Director of the month long residential all India Faculty Induction Programmes conducted by Teaching Learning Centre, sponsored by Ministry of Education at Ramanujan College, University of Delhi.
He undertook several consultancy projects for different companies and worked as Editor and Reviewer for many Journals and publishing houses. Also, he created audio-visual educational content playing active directorial role in transcript creation, studio recording, post-production and post-upload follow-up.
He was Coordinator of IQAC at SRCC, In-charge of Value-added Courses and Institutional Collaborations and looked after the National Resource Centre – Commerce Discipline sponsored by Ministry of Education at SRCC which offered online Faculty Development Programmes covering all four quadrants. Also, he was Coordinator for the NAAC Cycle 2 of SRCC.
