Dr. Shweta Tripathi is currently working as an Assistant Professor the Department of Biological Sciences and Engineering, NSUT, New Delhi. She earned her Ph.D. in Biosciences and Bioengineering from IIT Roorkee. Dr. Tripathi did her post-doctoral research at International Centre for Genetic Engineering, and Biotechnology, New Delhi. She holds M. Tech in Biochemical Engineering form IIT BHU, and B. Tech in Biotechnology from UPTU, Lucknow. Her research focuses on microalgal biotechnology, strain improvement, and sustainable bioprocess development, with contributions spanning carbon capture, wastewater remediation, stress-induced lipid metabolism, and biofuel production. She also received a prestigious DBT funded MK Bhan fellowship during her post-doctoral tenure. Currently, she is leading DST-INSPIRE Faculty research grant at NSUT, New Delhi with a vision to develop algal biotechnology for energy and environmental sustainability.
