Deepak Kumar Gupta received his B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from BBDNITM, Lucknow, in 2011 and M.Tech. in Power Systems from NIT Hamirpur, H.P., in 2013. He completed his Ph.D. from IIT (BHU), Varanasi, in 2018. He worked as an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from 2017 to 2025. Since June 2025, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), New Delhi. His research interests include power system control, FACTS devices, optimization techniques, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy.

Area of Interest: Power system control, FACTS devices, optimization techniques, artificial intelligence, LFC and renewable energy.
